Dystopisch und desillusioniert beschreibt der neue Song von Pitch Black Inc. die Arroganz, mit der wir die Zukunft der folgenden Generationen aufs Spiel setzen. Wir haben das Wissen und die Möglichkeiten, Hungersnöten, Naturkatastrophen oder dem Artensterben etwas entgegenzusetzen. Doch wir klammern uns an alte Werte aus der Vergangenheit, sind zu bequem, um uns einzuschränken.

Mit kühlen Synthesizern, sonorem Gesang und langsamen, monotonen Beats zeichnet „New Dawn“ ein hoffnungsloses Bild unserer Generation. Und endet zynisch in einer treibenden, fast fröhlichen Phrase: Träume von einem Neuanfang, weit weg von der Realität.
